RM_work profile_edited.jpg

Since qualifying in 2015 I have been offering one-to-one sessions (both short and long term) to adults and teenagers in and around Tonbridge, Kent. I am an accredited member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and adhere to the Ethical Framework for Good Practise. I am fully insured and attend regular supervision to make sure my work is safe and beneficial for my clients.

As well as my private practice here in Tonbridge, I also currently support students in a local grammar school where I can offer short (and sometimes longer) term sessions for students Y7 through to Y13.

I have experience working with a wide range of issues including: anxiety, depression, sexuality, bereavement, loss, child related issues, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, aggression and anger.

I'm currently offering counselling sessions in-person in north Tonbridge and also remote sessions on the phone and online.

My current working hours are Monday to Thursday. Sessions can be offered during the day and I also have some availability on a Tuesday evening.

TESTIMONIALS

About Me: About Me

For me there was an immediate connection with Rachel. She surrounds her work with empathy, humour and skill. Her insightful interpretation allows for the opportunity to inspect and work towards resolving problems.

I felt that I was able to be totally honest, right from the outset, completely trusting my counsellor.

Being able to talk freely and not be judged. Rachel my counsellor was a star.

I feel I can understand myself and the world around me a lot clearer and that is something that is making life incomparably easier to how it was before.
