Accredited Humanistic Counsellor

Since qualifying in 2015 I have been offering one-to-one sessions (both short and long term) to adults and teenagers in and around Tonbridge, Kent. I am an accredited member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and adhere to the Ethical Framework for Good Practise. I am fully insured and attend regular supervision to make sure my work is safe and beneficial for my clients.

As well as my private practice here in Tonbridge, I currently support students in a local grammar school and also run the Affordable Counselling Group with my partner, where we provide the local community with accessible and affordable sessions direct to five surgeries.

I have experience working with a wide range of issues including: anxiety, depression, sexuality, bereavement, loss, child related issues, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, aggression and anger.

I'm currently offering counselling sessions over the phone, via Zoom or face-to-face in Kings Hill, Kent.

My current working hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday afternoon and Saturday mornings. Sessions can be offered during the day and I also have some availability on a Tuesday evening.

About Me: About Me

For me there was an immediate connection with Rachel. She surrounds her work with empathy, humour and skill. Her insightful interpretation allows for the opportunity to inspect and work towards resolving problems.

I felt that I was able to be totally honest, right from the outset, completely trusting my counsellor.

Being able to talk freely and not be judged. Rachel my counsellor was a star.

I have been able to deal with past and current issues at a pace benefiting change. A discreet, calm and unpressured service I highly recommend.
